About Splonge

Splonge is an improvisation duo, formed by Colleen & Jeff Sherman, a husband and wife team. Trained at Florida Studio Theater in Sarasota, Florida, Splonge has performed at multiple venues and festivals, including Florida Studio Theater, the Countdown Improv Festival and at The Commodore in Ybor City, Florida. The members of Splonge have also appeared in festivals as part of Florida Studio Theater's cast, in Miami and Orlando, FL.

UPDATE: Splonge will be performing at the Oslo Impro Festival, in Oslo, Norway, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 8:00 p.m.!!!!

UPDATE: Splonge is scheduled to perform at the 2025 Countdown Improv Festival in Ybor City, FL, August 6-11.

Splonge has appeared at the Countdown Improv Festival in Tampa, FL, in 2023 and 2024.

Splonge, as part of other groups, performed at the O-Town Improv Festival in 2024, the Sarasota Improv Festival in 2023, the Miami Improv Festival in 2023, and the Orlando Improv and Comedy Festival in 2023.

Splonge frequently appears at The Commodore, a comedy club in Ybor City, FL. Splonge performs and produces improv shows at that venue, and has done so since 2023. Splonge also appears the Danandadam's Comedy Extravaganza in Clearwater, FL, since 2024.

UPDATE: Splonge is scheduled to perform with Five Raccoons in a Trench Coat on July 26, 2025, in Orlando, FL.

Community

Community

Splonge performs and produces shows for community associations and groups throughout the SW Florida area. For example, Splonge has performed at The Isles community center in Sarasota, FL, on several occasions since 2023.

Splonge has also performed on multiple occasions at Florida Studio Theater, performing improv and storytelling since 2023.

Splonge has also taught basic and advanced improv in various venues since 2024.
